SATURDAY 23rd Oct 2010 - Walhalla Run
This is a run we did many years ago and has repeatably been asked for again, so here it is and be sure not to miss out on this one! Corvettes of Melbourne are departing from the Hungry Jacks opposite the Hallam Hotel on the corner of the Princes Hwy and the Belgrave-Hallam Road, Hallam. Meet at 8:30am for a 9am departure.
It's a great cruise and very scenic and lots of fun roads. Stopping in Walhalla for a nice lunch.

Sat 6th and Sun 7th November - 19th Sandown Historic Event by Victorian Historic Racing Register
Gates are open at 7.30 for best parking but we will arrive at a more civil hour.
Meet at the Bunnings car park ( Melways map 80 Ref. D7 ) just before the entrance to Sandown Racecourse.
Meet at 8.00 to convoy in at 8.30 .
All cars entering with the complimentary pass must display a VACC sticker on their windshield to gain free entry. These will be supplied at the 8.00 meeting.
Parking inside the racecourse will be at the Red Hill area – as we go over the bridge crossing Dandenong Road this area is the first turn on the left, then head to the gate.
We have ten tickets available for drivers and one car each – additional passengers will be at half price.
Get in early to reserve your ticket (more can be ordered if we have enough lead time) with Darren on 0405 006 007.
All entry tickets allow access to enter at any gate, the pits, trade areas, paddock and Grandstand.
We attended last year and this is an absolutely fantasic event! Many historic race cars come out of the woodwork and there is an absolutely huge display of cars with a massive variety to see! Please take advantage of this lucky offer we have been provided. This year (the 19th) celebrates 100 years of Alfa racing and 50 years of touring car racing. It is going to be HUGE!

Friday 12th - Sunday 14th November 2010 – Corvette Leadfoot Challenge @ Wakefield Raceway

For those looking for a marvellous weekend encompassing everything about why it‟s great to own a Vette – then here it is! We start off with a nice cruise to Wakefield NSW. After this a few drinks may be consumed during a night of catching up with old friends and making new ones! Then dawn breaks on Saturday morning and the rustle of drivers and passengers getting ready to head to the famous Wakefield Park Raceway for some real fun is heard. We travel in convoy to the track for a day of fun and entertainment and the chance to try out your beast on a safe environment without the flashing lights, up to a speed where you feel comfortable. The Lead Foot Challenge is a inter club challenge of our Vettes for the legendary Leadfoot Perpetual Trophy!
The Leadfoot mainly includes participants from the three Melbourne clubs, Canberra club and Sydney club; however we have even had entrants from as far as Queensland! The day includes a few sprints against the clock and possible other events if time permits. After the day is done at the track, we head back to the Motel for a presentation dinner and night of relaxing and some tall tales of the days adventures, before cruising home on the Sunday.
A few notes on the Leadfoot Challenge:
