27/29th October 2006 – Leadfoot Challenge
It’s back on.
The annual challenge to be held at Winton raceway. Cost of ~$125 - $150
to be confirmed, depending on numbers. Track day is Sat 28th October.
Agenda includes Friday night nibbles, Saturday track day, Saturday night meal and Sunday recover and leave.

Sunday 28th May - BBQ at Albert Park
Time: From 1pm to 5pm
Where: "(1) SWAN PICNIC AREA": Which is on the north end of Albert Park, off Albert Road Drive.
Map: See the map reference link and look at the bottom pages and check the map legend for "(1) Swan Picnic Area"
What is supplied: Food and soft drinks. We have BBQ facilities,
toilets, shelter from the rain and some bench seats. You may wish to
bring folding chairs and/or picnic blankets.

Albury Run. Fri 19th, Sat 20th & Sun 21st May. (2 overnight stays @ Siesta Motel)
Together with the Canberra and Sydney Corvette clubs. Social night and visits to Mt Buffalo, Bright and Beechworth Bakery.
Iit starts on Friday 19 may, and finishes on Sunday 21 may. Three
couples from the Canberra club have already booked for that weekend.
Again we will take off from the Shell service station at Bunker Hill at
9.30 am we will be staying at the Siesta Motel (Steve not only owns a
1972 corvette but he also owns the motel we stayed at in Wangaratta),
it has a carport for every room. We will then meet up with the Canberra
people and have dinner at the motel's restaurant. Saturday is a
sightseeing cruise to Beechworth for breakfast at the bakery, and then
on to Bright and Mt Buffalo for a late lunch. Mid afternoon relax at
the motel, dinner at the restaurant and next morning return home.

Echuca Run (Social Run) - Sat 25th & Sun 26th March (1 overnight stay)
Holden Museum, wineries, lunch on the Emmy-Lou Paddle Steamer, Beechworth Bakery and crafts and markets
So far we have about 10 cars going to Echuca on the 26th march, great
going, it will be a great weekend. Deposits will taken at the March
8th meeting.
Saturday Lunch on the PS Emmylou. Visiting the Holden Museum & Wineries
Sunday breakfast at Beechworth Bakery(Echuca) and Crafts Markets
Leaving 9.30am (Shell Bunker Hill Roadhouse Saturday 25th March) from Cnr Hume Hwy & Donnybrook Rd Melway 376 D5
1.00-2.30pm PS Emmylou Lunch Cruise is 1.5 hours,fully licensed and is $22.50/adult
3.00pm National Holden Museum, Echuca
7.00-7.30pm The Caledonian Hotel, Echuca (Private Room – Full Dinner Menu)

Sat 21st Jan 06 Colac show and shine
The annual colac show and shine will be held in the main street of Colac starting at 10am.
We will leave in convoy to the event from the Shell servo at Westgate
at 8am sharp. For those staying overnight there will be a cruise on
Sunday.

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th November - 2005 CORVETTE TOURING CHALLENGE
Replacing the Corvette
challenge/leadfoot trophy which has been cancelled due to costs, this
event is designed to challenge your mind and navigational skills. It is
a car rally based on the TV series “The Amazing Race.” Being held in
Wangaratta, Shepparton and surrounding towns, accommodation is at the
familiar Gateway hotel in Wangaratta.
